This Balto® Bundle contains 1 Balto® Pull brace and a 1 Balto® Hock brace, to provide advanced support to canine’s ankle and paws.
The Balto® Pull addresses neurological disorders that cause severe proprioceptive deficits. When used with the support of the Balto Hock brace, this canine Achilles tendon brace duo is a great solution for dogs suffering from limited mobility following injuries to the hock/Achilles tendon.
BRACE APPLICATIONS
This bracing bundle is intended for the support of 1 affected limb.
- Proprioceptive deficits
- Hyperflexion of the paw (aka knuckling)
- Sciatic nerve damage
- Carpal flexural deformity/ Dorsiflexion
- Structural support for soft tissue injuries to the hock joint
- Chronic hock pain management
BRACE FEATURES
- Two toe bands provided with brace: one soft fitting for long-term and indoor use, and a harder fitting ideal for the outdoors and rough terrain.
- Three angled airplane aluminum splints; two splints aid in restricting the lateral movement, and a third in the front is slightly malleable for a more custom fit.
Please note that sizing differs between braces. The Balto Hock comes in sizes xx-small through x-large. The Balto Ligatek comes in sizes xx-small through large. To find the best size for your pet, visit the sizing chart here.
All Balto® braces are made from high-quality materials, not neoprene, which is known to: collect bacteria, provide inadequate support, and wear down quickly. A variety of sizes ensure a secure fit. No pinching straps.
Recommended for all ages unless otherwise advised by veterinarians. Apply brace for balanced increments of time, if appropriate, for pets under the age of 2 to prevent possible growth disturbances.
