It can even be used on both front legs at the same time for extra support.
Made with breathable, non-neoprene material, the Balto® Bone is designed to keep your pet comfortable while reducing strain and pain. Prepare the brace by opening the straps and position the brace on the affected area (Fig. 1).Step 2
Hold the brace firmly against your dog or cat's leg and secure all the Velcro straps around the leg by passing them through the buckles. Tightly close with the Velcro straps. The brace should not be loose or twist on the leg (Fig. 2 & 3).- My dog has carpal hyperextension, which brace do I choose?
- We have two great options that can support carpal hyperextension. For mild cases refer to the Splint brace. For more severe cases refer to the Bone brace.
- How does the Bone differ from the Joint Brace?
- The Bone is a fracture Brace that has three splints; it is the solution for dogs with limited mobility of the radius, ulna, or carpus. The Joint brace for carpal compression has two splints, it is the solution for dog’s suffering wrist injuries/soreness.

- Remove as much hair as possible from any Velcro® frequently to prevent compaction.
- Use lint roller or lightly adhesive tape to remove hair from the material of the brace.
- By hand, use warm water and a gentle cleansing soap to remove any stains and odors.
- Rinse soap thoroughly from the brace
- Hang to dry. Once the brace is completely dry, it is ready for use!
