The Balto® Neck Eco is a comfortable alternative to the traditional Elizabethan e-collar. Playfully known as the “cone of shame.” This breathable compression neck brace, made with non-neoprene material, prevents the extension of the neck to stop self-harming behaviors. This neck brace is not for cervical support. This brace can be worn alongside a pet’s harness without discomfort while maintaining an active lifestyle. The Eco brace is an excellent option for dogs in need of protection from biting, licking, or scratching wounds, allergies, or healing sites.

Recommended for all ages unless otherwise advised by veterinarians. Apply brace for balanced increments of time, if appropriate, for pets under the age of 2 to prevent possible growth disturbances.

My dog has a tumor above her neck .. she always scratches it to open it .. we use elastic dog wrap, gauze, anything to cover it but she still manages to open it .. this is the only thing that prevents her from opening her tumor
This cone alternative is a must have! It’s easy to use and allows your pup to see all around them unlike the traditional Cone of Shame.
We tried 3 other collars including a custom one applied by our vet and this one helped our beloved "pup" get stabilized and back to acting like his previous self.
Our Heeler, who loves to jump and catch frisbees, sprained his neck badly and couldn't move from whiplash. Our vet thought he might need surgery, but recommended trying a brace first. The Balto has been a life saver. He asks for it when going out to play! He is able to still run and jump, but it restrains him from twisting his neck. It's held up very well after 3 months of heavy daily use.

Much better tolerated than any Elizabethan collar iteration I've used in the last 40 years of practice. My own lab was my first trial, and she did brilliantly!
